How to get in touch
If you have made a booking with us, the best way to get in touch with us is to reply to the emails you received from our booking system without changing the subject line. The email will appear in your booking folio as a new message, and we will be able to action it quickly.
BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
In this document, “the company” refers to The Market Bar Group, its venues, managers and agents. The “booker” refers to the booking contact or the agent named in the booking details.
Bookings may require a card authentication to guarantee and hold the space requested. If the authentication is not made within the time requested; the booking will be released without prior notice.
Party decorations, balloons, streamers and banners are not allowed unless by prior agreement with the company which is to be confirmed by email. No entertainment is to be organised without prior agreement with the company.
Celebration cakes are allowed; however, there is a charge of €20 per cake if the cake is brought in. Leftover cakes are disposed of at the end of the night unless a request is made to hold them; these must be collected the following day. For health and safety reasons, cakes not collected within 24 hours of the event will be disposed of.
The Booker is liable for the behaviour of their group and any damage to the company’s property caused by the intentional or negligent behaviour of their group. At all times, we request and require that the booker and the group follow any instructions the company management requests.
Allergens
For guests who have allergies/dietary constraints, please let us know, and we will add a note to the booking. At the table, your waiter will offer an alternative from our à la carte Tapas menu. We take every measure to indicate the allergens present in the ingredients of our dishes. If a person has a severe allergy, it must be understood that trace cross contamination occurs in every kitchen and if they dine with us, it is at their own risk.
Gratuity
There is a 12.5% gratuity on the whole bill for table service, all of which goes to the staff. Please advise us or your server beforehand of any dietary requests/allergen issues. Sittings are 2 hours long. Please let us know if there are any special requirements for this event.
Payments
Please be aware that the final bill can only be split into three separate payments (using 3 different cards).
LATE ARRIVALS
Please ensure all your party arrive promptly for your booking time and present yourselves at the restaurant reception desk.
If your party is delayed, please call us at +353 (0) 1 613 9094 or send an email.
If we do not receive a “running late” notification from you and you do not arrive on time; we will hold the booking for a maximum of 15 minutes past the booking time, after which time the table will be released and re-sat if there is demand. If we do receive a timely notification, we will do our best to accommodate you but can make no promises as we are sure you understand.
Late arrivals will not have additional time added to their length of sitting and the party must vacate the premises at the time given in the booking details. Failure to do this promptly may incur a penalty charge. The booker can always request an extended sitting time, but this must be made by email before the date of the booking.
REDUCED PARTY SIZE
If the size of your party on the night is fewer than confirmed; we reserve the right to sit the booking at an appropriate arrangement of tables and to apply the card authentication fee.
If your party has not read these terms and conditions of their booking and leaves the restaurant without ordering or paying for any reason, we reserve the right to apply the card authentication fee. If you have made a card authentication for this booking, please also take note of our cancellation policy.
CANCELLATION POLICY FOR BOOKINGS OF 9 PEOPLE OR LESS
Please make any cancellations more than 24 hours before the date of the booking to avoid late or no-show cancellation charges.
The card authentication is not a charge or a deposit; we have only authenticated your card for the amount requested. If you cancel less than 24 hours before the sitting time or do not show up for your booking, this amount may be taken as a charge.
To prevent cancellation charges, please make cancellations a minimum of 24 hours in advance and any changes to the number of people no less than 12 hours in advance. No-shows, lower party numbers, late cancellations or walkouts prior to order may incur a charge up to the card authentication amount at the restaurant’s discretion.
CANCELLATION POLICY FOR BOOKINGS OF 10 to 18 PEOPLE
Please make any cancellations more than 48 hours before the date of the booking to avoid late or no-show cancellation charges.
The card authentication is not a charge or a deposit; we have only authenticated your card for the amount requested. If you cancel less than 48 hours before the sitting time or do not show up for your booking, this amount may be taken as a charge.
To prevent cancellation charges, please make cancellations a minimum of 48 hours in advance and any changes to the number of people no less than 24 hours in advance. No-shows, lower party numbers, late cancellations or walkouts prior to order may incur a charge up to the card authentication amount at the restaurant’s discretion.

Please make any cancellations more than five days before the date of the booking to avoid late or no-show cancellation charges.
