Fade Street is at the heart of Dublin and The Market Bar
is the heart of Fade Street. This heart has been beating for
more than 300 years, during which the inns, coffee houses, restaurants
and pubs of the area have extended hospitality to generations of merchants,
trades people, students, artists and visitors to Dublin’s Fair City.
The Black Market is a
unique cocktail bar located upstairs from
The Market Bar and perfect for events
of all sizes
The Market Bar is the home of the first baby bottles. In 1889 Powers Whiskey bottled their ‘The Baby Powers’ here and exported them all over the world.
Amazing food and atmosphere I still dream of the food at Market Bar (some pics which don’t actually do it justice)! In the 1700s it was actually a market, but now it’s a delicious tapas restaurant with lots to choose from and a great atmosphere.
Large Bar with a great atmosphere The Market Bar is a huge venue that allows for casual conversation and a great pint! It has a bit of a biergarten feel to it as well.
Tapas with Colleagues The tapas were pretty OK, not the best but some things were very delicious. However, it was before Christmas and very busy. The welcome we received and the service was fantastic. It made the experience as a group go really smoothly.
