Fade Street is at the heart of Dublin and The Market Bar
is the heart of Fade Street. This heart has been beating for
more than 300 years, during which the inns, coffee houses, restaurants
and pubs of the area have extended hospitality to generations of merchants,
trades people, students, artists and visitors to Dublin’s Fair City.
The Black Market is a
unique cocktail bar located upstairs from
The Market Bar and perfect for events
of all sizes
The Market Bar is the home of the first baby bottles. In 1889 Powers Whiskey bottled their ‘The Baby Powers’ here and exported them all over the world.

Great spot for lunch We were sent over from Julian at Bike Dublin after a cold but fabulous bike tour around Dublin. Plenty of room to sit, warm up, and have a pint. It has a very cool atmosphere inside. We shared Patatas Bravas (the combo of the spicy tomato sauce and garlic mayo was excellent), My partner had the Piri Piri and it's loaded with chicken! I had the Cute Hoor IPA. I found the IPA's in the UK are different from the states but this was good. Not super hoppy.
A great place to enjoy some drinks with your friends! We recently visited Dublin and our friend recommended The Market Bar and it did not disappoint. Great atmosphere and amazing food!!
Fantastic food! It was a brilliant atmosphere and the venue itself is so nicely designed. The tapas were very tasty and plentiful
