Fade Street is at the heart of Dublin and The Market Bar
is the heart of Fade Street. This heart has been beating for
more than 300 years, during which the inns, coffee houses, restaurants
and pubs of the area have extended hospitality to generations of merchants,
trades people, students, artists and visitors to Dublin’s Fair City.
The Black Market is a
unique cocktail bar located upstairs from
The Market Bar and perfect for events
of all sizes
The Market Bar is the home of the first baby bottles. In 1889 Powers Whiskey bottled their ‘The Baby Powers’ here and exported them all over the world.
Amazing!! Came here with a large group for a work dinner, it was absolutely brilliant! The food was delicious but every single member of staff were absolutely incredible they made our night! Robert was serving us and he was amazing so helpful and lovely. Couldn't recommend this place enough I will be back many times!
Dinner Nice venue. Music a bit loud, which make it hard to hear the people you are with because everyone starts screaming at each other. Food was ok. Some hot and cold. Ordered a snack. Didn't have the plates cleared and a different waiter dropped our main course to the table. Feel like we are being rushed to make way for someone else to take our seats.
Its good value with regards to the food. Not over priced.
Would recommend it before a night out.
Wouldn't recommend for a date.... Stuggle to talk to each other.
Interesting Enjoyed visit to the market bar for Sunday lunchtime tapas.
Good service. Tasty food which was good value for money. Nice welcoming setting, which was warm and comfortable. What’s not to like.
Will definitely return.
